Customization Guide

Every sign at My Neon Gift is personalized. This guide walks through the choices on the product page and the small details that make the difference between a good sign and a great one.

Step 1: Pick the kind of sign

• Name & Initial: a first name, nickname or monogram, in script or block lettering.
• Words & Quotes: one or two words, a favorite saying or an inside joke.
• Dates & Milestones: a wedding date, a birth year, an “est.” year, or names paired with a date.
• Zodiac & Symbol: a star sign, moon, heart or star, alone or with a name.

Step 2: Enter your wording

Type your text in the personalization field on the product page. We reproduce it exactly, so:

• Check spelling, especially names with unusual spellings.
• Use capitals where you want them. “mia” and “Mia” will look different.
• Include punctuation such as apostrophes, ampersands or periods only if you want them lit.
• Write dates in the format you want to see, for example 06.14.2025 or June 14 2025.
• Keep it short for the size you choose. Fewer letters mean each one is larger and easier to read from across a room.

Step 3: Choose a size

Most designs come in Small, Medium and Large. Small suits a desk, shelf or nightstand; Medium works above a bed or dresser; Large is meant to be a wall feature. Approximate dimensions are listed on each product page.

Step 4: Choose a color

Select a glow color from the options shown on the product page. Colors look strongest in a dim room and softer in daylight.

What your sign is made of

LED neon flex on acrylic. The lettering or symbol is formed from flexible LED neon tube and fixed to a clear acrylic backing cut around the design. It plugs into a standard outlet using the power adapter included in the box.

Placing and hanging

• Choose a spot indoors, within reach of an outlet.
• Check the product page for what is included to mount or stand that design.
• Use screws and wall plugs suited to your wall, and keep the sign level so the light reads evenly.
• Keep it away from steam, sinks and direct heat.

Changing your design after ordering

Email contact@myneongift.com within 24 hours of ordering if you need to change the text, size or color. After that, production has usually begun and changes may not be possible. Production takes 5–7 days from your order.
